- founded in April 1996 and has at present 66 members
- in 1997 CCC was deemed as a non-profit-making organisation (keeping of cultural heritage)
- as a non-profit-making organisation it supports the preservation and utilisation of Colditz Castle in addition to its cultural and commercial use
- CCC monitors and records international, national, regional and local media with regard to communication of the history of Colditz Castle and its future
- CCC maintains contacts with The Colditz Society and Colditz Accociation
- CCC considers the excellent human qualities such as ingenuity, daring and steadfastness displayed by Allied Officers during their imprisonment serves as a tribute to their memory and enriches the history of Colditz Castle and Saxony in this way
- CCC welcomes new members from all backgrounds who have an interest in supporting the preservation of Colditz Castle. We also welcome enquiries from individuals and organisations wishing to make a donation or to support CCC
